La Médiathèque presents : Parcours Dubstep

Le dubstep et vous

Le dubstep, un terme trop branché ? Une musique réservée à des clubs fermés d’initiés ? Pourtant la BBC en parle comme étant « le futur de la musique ». Un nouveau genre tellement à la pointe qu’il en devient « le genre qui n’existe pas ». Alors pour expliquer et ouvrir le dubstep, la Médiathèque s’est plongée dans ce maelström où se conjuguent plusieurs histoires de la musique : dub (et donc déjà l’épopée reggae), dancehall, raggamuffin, ragga, jungle, drum’n’bass, UK-garage, techno, house, rap…

En pratique

Du 12 septembre au 12 novembre, deux temps forts aux médiathèques de l'ULB et du Passage 44 :

• La Collection

800 médias de références et rares (LP, CD, DVD), à palper, lire, écouter retracent la généalogie, cousinage et alliances transversales.

• 2 DJ sets de BunZerO le 12 septembre GRATUIT !

1) ULB de 12h à 13h sur le campus avenue P. Héger (face à la médiathèque)

2) Gare de Bruxelles Congrès de 19h à 20h
